As a Financial Services Performance Analyst on the Network Performance and Business Insights team, you will focus on financial services reporting and analysis (i.e. Life and Health, Mutual Funds and Vehicle Finance). You will develop and use tools and methods to collect, compile and model the organization’s data. You are innovative, creative and help decision-makers understand the big picture.

You analyze and help diagnose issues, provide opinions, develop recommendations and implementation plans. You interact and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

The ability to learn quickly and use technology effectively is essential. You are results driven and thrive on owning projects specific to Financial Service.

General Information on the Position

Additional information

• Identify, analyze and interpret data to inform management decision-making and monitor the application of Network policies and practices.
• Help identify and analyze Network informational needs and operationalize business intelligence solutions by coordinating with key stakeholders.
• Produce dashboard, reports, action plans and ensure information quality.
• Develop and write methods and processes.
• Develop programs and tools. Run tests and take corrective action as needed.
• Update databases and suggest improvements to optimize database quality and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field
• A minimum of two years of relevant experience
• Experience creating and launching dashboards via Power BI (asset)

• Familiar with Desjardins products and solutions (an asset)
• Knowledge of the insurance and financial services industry
• Knowledge of the Desjardins Agency Network (DAN) and the Agency distribution platform (asset)
• Familiar with Agent facing sales and servicing tools/systems (asset)
• Knowledgeable in SQL
• Proficient in business analytics
