The Advertiser Platform team is based in Toronto. We are the owners of the advertiser experience and we’re looking to take our advertiser platform to the next level. We are looking for a leader who is passionate about helping brands be successful on the platform. As a site-lead for Ads in Toronto, you will help to grow and support the teams that build best-in-class features, insightful analytics, and intelligent suggestions so that advertisers can reach their goals easily and effectively. You will be defining the future of advertising in the relatively new online grocery space, touching many different technologies.
ABOUT THE ROLE :
Hire and lead a growing team of talented Engineering Managers and Engineers that are directly contributing to the Instacart Ads team mission.
Work directly with product management and partner with advertisers and ad agencies to build a great ads management experience
Provide technical guidance and support to the team and ultimately be responsible for the health of the systems your team builds.
Prioritize work for your team, making difficult tradeoffs on design based on business constraints, ensuring on-time deliverables and high-quality software.
You will participate in interviewing, hiring decisions, on-boarding, and mentoring of new engineers with the goal of quickly making them productive members of your team.

ABOUT YOU :

Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent work experience
6+ years of experience building and managing teams of Software Engineers, with 2+ years of managing managers
A track record of success building Ads or other B2B products
someone with a strong interest in recruiting top notch engineers and building great teams
Experience with ads is a plus, but not a requirement
