What is the opportunity?
The Senior Manager, Procurement Strategy & Business Insights will be responsible for supporting strategy transformation initiatives across Global Procurement and solving problems with facts and data. The Senior Manager will support, and in some cases lead, a variety of strategic initiatives with the intent of enabling our Procurement organization to maximize total value contribution across the enterprise.
The team is a fun and engaged team made up of master story-tellers with tremendous analytic horsepower and our aim is to use facts and data to solve problems (big and small) and improve outcomes. The candidate will collaborate closely with their colleagues across Global Procurement, have a willingness to challenge the status quo and an ability to embrace change. They will use their expert strategy development, analytic and storytelling capabilities to drive change and support our transformational journey.
What will you do?
Strategic Leadership: develop and execute strategies
Lead and support various strategic initiatives (big and small) including process re-design, strategy development, budget and priority-setting, digital culture transformation and more – it’s an exciting and fast-paced environment and you’ll be required to leverage your problem-solving, communication, project management, change management and creativity skills to be successful
Analytics: use facts and data to solve problems
Leverage your analytical prowess to solve tough problems, whether it be how to optimize our third-party spend or how to more effectively allocate resources across multiple competing priorities, you’ll let the data guide you to solve these often ambiguous challenges
Story-telling: compel outcomes
Compel meaningful outcomes (changes, actions and more) through powerful and effective story-telling that adapts across all mediums and audiences
