Reporting to the Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition the Talent Acquisition Partner plays a pivotal role working across HR and the business to provide recruiting expertise, enhance our technologies and partner with our HR colleagues to deliver unified solutions to the business.

How does a Talent Acquisition Partner at TMX contribute?
You’ll manage full cycle, end to end recruitment (everything from job requisition to hire) for your assigned portfolio groups
You will collaborate with hiring managers to craft and communicate the value proposition to candidates effectively in order to attract the best in class talent for TMX
You will build relationships with the businesses to understand workforce planning, leverage digital recruitment marketplaces and sourcing technologies to source and build pipelines
You love using data, reports and dashboards to advise managers on market trends and finding best ways to supply against their resource demands
You will bring extensive expertise with our Workday HCM solution, acting as an advisor to the business and an SME to HR on the recruitment tool, while working with internal stakeholders to troubleshoot and correct issues.
You’ll regularly collaborate with your HR colleagues on various initiatives to ensure we are all succeeding together by creating a positive, respectful and inspiring work environment
You’ll act as a change champion, supporting and promoting changes to our processes, technologies and programs using agile principles of developing, iterating and adjusting to continuously improve.
You’re a go-getter, full of energy and extremely organized who is able to deal with multiple competing priorities and activities without dropping the ball
You have a high attention to detail, taking personal pride in accuracy, accountability and efficiency
You will manage our new graduate, summer and co-op programs; working with the schools to help managers identify the right candidates, manage ongoing engagement and day to day operations of the program. Coordinating student events such as the annual Take Your Kids to Work Day, market opens, orientation events, socials, etc. excites you!
What do you bring to the role?
Post-secondary education in Human Resources and/or equivalent experience
A minimum of 5 years of full-cycle recruiting experience working in a fast-paced corporate environment
A minimum of 2 years’ experience as a super-user of a cloud-based HRIS system (Workday preferred)
Strong experience supporting campus recruiting initiatives and programs
A demonstrated technical curiosity, looking at ways to leverage technologies, provide recommendations and/or show others how to use tools.
You’re highly motivated, with strong time management skills, have an ability to work with deadlines and under pressure and you know when you ask for help if you need it
You have a strong sense of confidentiality, integrity and the ability to deal with sensitive information.
You have excellent interpersonal, negotiation and relationship skills, working across Finance, HR and the business to execute against our strategic objectives.
You might be bilingual in English and French, but it’s just a nice to have
