Trader: Core Operations Full Time

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

Join the trading team at Canadian ShareOwner Investments Inc. (Wealthsimple’s in-house brokerage)
Execute daily tasks at the trade desk and collaborate with cross-functional partners across Wealthsimple
Identify operational improvements to improve productivity and efficiency for trading processes
Execute and monitor the daily order flow
Be responsible for overseeing risk and meeting compliance requirements across all of our trading processes
Use data to prioritize Brokerage Technology work, set requirements, help get things out of beta

Skills we’re looking for:

IIROC registration as an Investment Representative or Registered Representative
Experience working on a trade desk and with trading platforms
Experience with back office operations
An understanding of equity and FX markets
Analytical experience with excel and SQL
Solution focused
Passionate about technology
