In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Build and manage fraud automation tooling and libraries to help engineers deploy secure software
Further enhance our fraud prevention, investigation and response capabilities by building automated tooling and features that would empower the operations team quickly and easily respond to common fraud incidents
Proactively identify bad actors as they attempt to engage with our systems and use this information to make recommendations for improved process and controls
Partner with our Fraud/Security Analyst, Security Engineers and Data Science teams to monitor, refine, and expand our Fraud detection and prevention platforms
Coordinate with the Client Protection Operations team to investigate potential fraudulent activity
Participate in an on-call rotation for responding to fraud incidents, internal questions & bugs, or triaged bug bounty security reports
We’re looking for someone who:
Brings 3+ years of security operations experience
Enjoys and has experience in being an Incident Manager and takes ownership of an investigation
Understands how to turn noise into signals using large data platforms
Has a strong Ruby & Python background and is comfortable creating automated scripts
Believes that honesty, transparency, and inclusivity are important when communicating with both internally and external stakeholders
Demonstrates good judgement under pressure both in terms of technical problem solving and collaborating cross functionally
